Operational Duress

This canary dies if DECENT is under operational duress. We define "operational duress" as not having free will to run the company in accordance with best practices in a manner that results in the most secure elections deliverable. Death of this canary would likely accompany dissolution of the company or transfer of ownership (which should not be trusted). Example circumstances that would kill this canary are successful coercive demands to compromise electoral integrity, including:

• Creating back-doors in our software.
• Injecting code or methods in our products or infrastructure.
• Changing our preferred algorithms to something compromised.
